Clutch not disengaging saga - continued from last year

Hi all, the weather warmed and the piles of snow uncovered a paralyzed 1997 Saab 9000 in the yard. Last fall I attempted a clutch job and it failed. All new parts, including a SAAB OEM slave cylinder.
This time around with warm weather and temps on my side, I have bled air out of clutch a few times, again with no success. "bench bleeding" master, reverse bleeding with 'horse' syringe, etc., etc.
Now I am considering the entire clutch assembly and associated parts as a possible culprit.
Upon comparison with my other 9000 aeros with working clutches, one nearly new and one with a couple years and lots of highway miles, they look completely different. On the working units, the Throwout bearing rests approx 1/4 inch beyond the outer curve of the pressure plate. This is when looking straight on. However, on the problem unit, the throwout bearing rests much deeper into the pressure plate assembly. The spring/bellows assembly keeps it against the 'fingers' of the pressure plate.
According to the composite comments on this board, it seems impossible that the clutch disc is installed backwards. There is no rubbing or grinding of clutch springs on flywheel bolts.
The pressure plate is SACHS, MV4, made in Slovakia (ink visible through slave inspection opening)
I got the kit from EEuroparts last July it was the 8781551G $329
