The pressure of the fluid is determined by the strength of the pressure plate springs which you are using the fluid to depress. It's the same with an old master cylinder, a new master cylinder, an old line, a new line, an old slave cylinder, a new slave cylinder.
If the slave let go, it let go. It has to have either happened before the line let go, or after it was repaired. Neither way does the condition of the line have any possible causative effect.
Oh woops unless there was some "ballooning" in the line before failure which would have had some cushioning effect on pressure applied at the slave. But still to work the clutch the end pressure on the slave o-rings had to be proportional to the pressure of the pressure plate springs.
Just to try to lay to rest the happy and easy to believe fallacy that somehow fixing one part of a hydraulic system somehow "causes" another part of it to fail.
The rubber parts all suffer the effects of aging alike and so often one part goes soon after another. Or, it could be years till failure.
