Location of Connector for Crank Position Sensor??? Posted by Bill Homer [Email] (#3427) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Bill Homer) on Sat, 9 Mar 2019 13:23:40 In Reply to: Re: Crank Position Center, JerseySaab [Profile/Gallery] , Tue, 5 Mar 2019 10:32:46 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
My car is exhibiting the classic signs of a CPS failure: starts up fine when cold, occasionally won't start when hot, but wait 20 minutes and it will start. Ordered up a replacement part, got the T30 holddown screw out - but where is the other end of the connector? The wire goes behind the engine, disappears into all of the other wires in a place where it is very hard to see. Does anyone have a picture or diagram?
Note: I'm planning to just leave the old wiring in place and using zipties to attach the new cable to the old one, probably cut off the ends. It's too cold in my garage to worry about perfection.
