Well, I haven't been running the "upgraded" Trionic that long... since I'm still running stock apart from the exhaust.
I'm not sure about the bypass (hooter) myself, as I've heard varying opinions on it's reliability/durability at higher boost levels. Most people with upgraded bypass/dumpvalves seem to use HKS or Baileys or some other piston type with or without recirculation.
My guess (or at least what I hope for your sake) is that your car hasn't adapted fully yet. Remember that it's been running with a faulty BPC AND a faulty bypass for probably quite some time. So it should take a number of serious runs for it to adapt.
Also, try and do a calibration of JJ's gauge. I think there normally is a button or something that calibrates it. Since it's measuring relative pressure the max boost on the gauge should be dependent on the air pressure the last time it was calibrated. Which may help explain the "lack" of boost.
So, 1) a couple of serious adaptation runs, 2) calibrate the gauge.
Hope it works out! I'm guessing you're pretty anxious to get Saabrina dressed in her "new clothes"...
