Well, I have no experience at all with Ramsey. Jersey's way too far out of the way for me in any case, either for service or in terms of looking at new cars. As far as attitude goes, I wasn't too happy with the service writers I spoke to. They were appologetic, but didn't do much to rectify the situation as I described it to them. In fact, I got the distinct impression that an electrical connection was left open on the car while they had it, to the point where I had to call AAA for a jump start Tuesday night. The service writer I spoke to went out of his way to insinuate that the problem was not the dealership's fault. Wouldn't even consider the possibility. Which pissed me off.
The service department general manager was unfailingly apologetic, and recognizes that they have a lot of work to do in terms of getting up to speed regarding Saab service practices. I had no contact at all with the sales department, so I can't comment there.
Not that I would ever subject myself to a dealer when seeking to acquire another car. I bought my car from Roberti (an independent), and had a positive enough experience that I would certainly go back to them when I'm in the market for my next Saab ('96 or '97 Aero, perhaps in a year or two).
As it stands, unless I need emergency work done and the car's not drivable, I'm going to Roberti for service as well.
