I have also seen the Mass Air Flow sensor act up intermittently. I had a car that would not accept the accelerator when cold. This problem would go away when the engine was warm. However, no codes were stored in the ECM's memory. Aero guy is correct about calibration, that needs to be performed first with all the components replaced on your car.
