Nate, thanks for the update.
The 91 does have the tighter, "Aero" suspension. The 93 does not (unless it is a 93-1/2 Aero as opposed to a 9000CSE Turbo as you described it).
The 91 is quicker because it's geared lower. The TCS is not much of a factor on dry pavement.
Many folks would tell you that the 93 TCS is a big problem. I have a 92 with the same TCS and my experience has been great, but there have been problems with some cars. And when you have TCS problems they are not always easy to fix.
I would go for the 91 in a heartbeat unless it has major deferred maintenance problems.
If it were me I would take the 91 to my trusted Indie SAAB service place for a thorough going over. These cars can be great if cared for; nightmares if neglected.
IMHO the 91Turbo is the best 9000 ever made.
