Looks like the people in Italy screwed up again and put a crack in the steel insert when they shrunk it in your head. The reason I say that is I could read the casting number in the aluminum casting and see fracture lines in the steel insert. I've seen this before and we'll see it again. The seat hole in the aluminum casting is machined slightly smaller than the piece it is to hold. The aluminum is heated(to expand it) and the steel is cooled( to shrink it) then they are placed(pressed) togeater. the problem is that metal can get brittle when it is cooled, setting it up for fractures that will cause failure at a latter date.
