You would need to make sure they have the same bolt pattern. Also I am big on having the stock offset - attempts to widen the car with wheels with the wrong offset just wear out tires, ball joints, wheel bearings, etc. to say nothing of screwing up the handling and tracking. The other thing to watch out for is that up until probably 1978 (not sure about 1977) the wheels were centered by a conical washer on the hub, not by the lug bolts, so the wheel would have to have the correct diameter center hole. Of course, look out for overall width/diameter (a 195/60x15 is about the widest you can run on a 99 without rubbing - and it has the same diameter as the original 165/78x15 so the speedometer is still fairly close).
