If you want to spend the extra money on a locksmith, you can do that. Otherwise you will need to use the new key that came with your new ignition cylinder to start your car, and the original key for all your other locks. I don't prefer that, but I didn't spend the extra money on a locksmith. As a result and thinking positively, I can now start the car to get it warmed up on those cold mornings, and then lock the car while it's running, and go back inside to get my coffee ready, etc :-) I would be curious as to what it would cost to have a cylinder made to match the original key though.
