A final note. Piqued by the revelation of new information, I retired to my archives to investigate. A review of the few surviving records of the Moscva enterprise reveal that there was a second production worker, one Simonesque Grenatovich, the only employee favoring use of a steering wheel in the roadster. Out of favor with management, he apparently escaped unnoticed and unaccounted for. There is strong evidence to suggest that, by means unclear, he made his way to the West, crossing the Channel with papers denominating him as "Simon Green". Shortly thereafter, while attending the Isle of Man TT, he made the acquaintance of the father of the great and later-to-be-Sir Sterling Moss, who became his benefactor and encouraged him to open a small manufactory in Surbiton Surrey. With limited proficiency in the language of his adopted country, he called the company Moto-Lita, which, in his native tongue, translates loosely as "little inventory control". A lot of things have become clearer.
