That's exactly right- a single bolt that goes through the firewall into the "nipple" on the rear of the transmission. The nipple fits into the rubber rear mount. Pull up the carpet and you'll see an oval access hole about 2" in diameter.
I just got done removing and replacing the drivetrain in my '68 Deluxe this weekend. Main reason was to change out a very noisy gearbox.
Ask any questions, as this process is very fresh in my mind!
