got a call from oniel saab, (who did the timing belt replace), and they are telling me that it is actually in time, but there are bent valves. The only two possibilities that I can think of for this, is a rod was thrown, which would be obvious due to loud bang, or rod sticking out the side of the block. or possibly the key that holds the cam gear in place. was sheareed off. The service supervisor wants my approval to go into 4.5 hour tear down to find out what the problem is. They say it is an internal problem, but they had no answer to the two possibilities I said above. What do you guys think?
