I can't offer you any pointers on manipulating SAAB service technicians and dealers-mine have been first rate- fixing our many problems the first time. However, I can commiserate with the annoying lack of quality on my wife's 99 93SE (which by the way she got after a bad quality experience with a 96 Jetta). Yes, a the 93 is very nice car, a unique car that is fun to drive. I like SAAB, I've worked in Sweden, understand the heritage, etc. However, my opinion now is that the 93 is a poor value based on our experience and many of the posts on the board. As my wife's car rolls past 50K, I'm getting nervous. Not because my service department is inept or rude, they're great, but because we will start footing the bill for the repairs. Good luck! (BTW I also have a paid-for GM vehicle with 150K+) :).
