Hi all -
Today I had my first experience driving a Viggen. It was so much fun that I'm seriously considering buying about a year and a half earlier than I had considered buying any new car (prior to today I was eying the S60T5, but had convinced myself to wait). I also tested the SE, but in my very humble opinion the seats on the SE were a deal-killer from the get-go. Also, I must admit I like the euro-ish styling of the Viggen.
Since this is a recent development and I'm just now starting to research it I need some help.
1.) I think given the supposedly great lease rates I'd be interested in leasing. The dealer told me that with about $2,000 down the payment would be around $550 / month (12,000 miles/year). Since I wasn't serious while I was in there I didn't look at the backup info. He also said that the effective interest rate on the lease is roughly 2-3%. Sounds awesome! By the way, this is one of the "no-haggle" Saturn-type dealers.
2.) Can anybody give me an example (hopefully a personal example)( of buying a Viggen - pricing, rates, residuals if it's a lease, etc.
3.) With the slowing economy should I expect these bargain rates to continue if I can't buy just yet? I realize Saabs are having a harder time selling than BMW's, so I'd assume/hope the answer is yes.
4.) I haven't done a whole lot of research. The one misgiving I have is that the T5 is an almost brand new platform (possibly a bad thing I guess) vs. the older Viggen platform. Might this be a problem.
5.) Tuning - has anybody in Southern California done it. Chipping is what I'm interested in for starters. If so, where. So far I'm finding a number of places in the UK, but apparently not many in the US (or I'm not finding them).
I'm a research freak, so any input is VERY appreciated. I hate to say it, but most importantly I want to know I'm getting just about the best deal possible (don't we all).

Thanks you all for your time

PS - This is my first time to this board - fantastic!
