Thanks for the opinions. I didn't know about the ecu differences. Is that the only difference? That makes my mind up even more. If all I need to do is swap out the ecu, then I'd definitely be up for the base. I'm not a fan of the gray/tan leather options, which is why I'd be doing the aftermarket thing.
How is Saab generally on mods? I know that VW will kill you if you do anything. Would they have to prove that the mod is why the problem happened?
Similar to the leather, I'm not a fan of any of the Saab wheels, and would be putting some warm weather wheels on eventually. Which would make the 15's a better selection as my winter wheels than the 16's (I live in Jersey now, prob. moving back to Philly eventually)
Final question: does the viggen use the same seat shell as the base and se? If so, then I would be able to buy the padding from the viggen and put that on before the leather, right?
