Yes, there are a lot of nice cars out there. It's been posted before I think that for a value package, the new Honda Accord is a great deal when you consider its speed and value at a list price of roughly $26,000 loaded.
I currently drive a Lexus GS-300 which is fast and smooth, but I am looking for the more nimble handling and fun to drive factor which I believe the 9-3ss posseses.
Each car has a blend of attributes, but I'm not sure that any car has it all. For instance, when you drive a sport sedan you give up some of the comfort of a large luxury sedan. I drove the G35 and while it was quite fast, it was not as nimble and fun to drive as the 9-3ss and the front seats were cramped.
My opinion of the new 9-3 is that it is a good blend of many features for the money - comfortable, reasonably fast, nice looking inside and out, fun to drive and a good value for the money.
