While I bought my car at VOB and can certainly get it serviced at any dealer in the US pre and post-warranty, it helps to get it serviced at the place you bought it. You get to know the service reps and there's no hassle getting a loaner car while it's in the shop. Take it to a dealer you didn't buy it at and they sometimes give you a hassle about giving you a loaner b/c you didn't buy it there and they say they "reserve those for their 'original' customers" first.
Unfortunately, experiences at dealers are about 90% due to the actual salesperson you come in contact with and how busy they are at the time you're there. I made appointments when I did business, so you might want to try that route.
As for specific salesmen to ask for at each of the aforementioned dealerships, Alex G. at VOB is excellent and Mike. H. at International is as well. Both low-pressure, very knowledgable etc.
