Thanks for those pictures. It has been very interesting to follow.
I suspect the lack of interest in Saab-usa reviewing your car is that Saab USA is probably mostly a sales and service company, and Saab in Sweden is the designer and manufacturer. They are likely seperate companies that share the same name and corporate parent. Lots of internation companies are seperate so they don't have to pay incomes taxes to countries other than where the income is generated. If Saab-USA sells a car and makes a couple thousand, that's US income, or if they lose money, that's negative income in the US, and it doesn't affect their taxes in Sweden - AND vice versa. Probably lots of other good reasons too.
The fact that they no longer make that car and probably don't use the same heater controls any more is probably also a factor.
You could obtain the other wrecked car and show both at a local high school for drunk-driver prevention. In our area, the police do that at graduation time, but probably don't have time to arrange such displays at other times.
