You should be able to use a 3 wire universal O2 sensor and replace yours if it is faulty. But as Dean suggested, first check resistences. Possible culprits are resistance between exhaust manifold and engine block and between O2 sensor and downpipe. Resistance should be clean zero ohms.
Once this is OK, then warm up your engine to operating temperature you can get a Volt meter and locate the live wire one of the three and try to get the cable exposed by removing carefully the insullation. With the engine running measure the voltage between the cable and ground on the engine block. You should see a voltage that varries between 0.2V-0.8V. If the voltage struggles to pass 0.5 volts then the O2 sensor is probably gone. If the voltage mesure OK then I would start suspecting the engine management or the wiring from the O2 connector to the engine management. In which case you will need further tests.
