I have a 02 9-3 SE 5-sp manual, purchased at 80k mi, now has just over 100k mi. Aside from scheduled preventative maintenance, the other things that needed to be done:
1) replaced DI cassette to address a misfire issue,
2) replaced oil pump seal to address a slow oil loss,
3) replaced a sagging headliner,
4) replace torn transmission mount,
5) replace worn tensioner pulley,
6) overhauled front suspension with new control arms, tie rod ends, front strut inserts, strut mounts and strut bearings.
7) replaced worn rear brake rotors and pads.
8) replaced transmission fluid to address trouble shifting in and out of 4th gear.
When I mounted my winter tires a few months ago, it looks like one of the rear shocks may be shot, so those may need to be replaced later this year.
You can go at least 5k with synthetic oil changes unless you take very short trips all the time. Swapping out a good but well used DI cassette and keeping the old one as spare is something some people would do as a preventative measure.
