Hello, could be a wheel bearing but also could be something with the parking brake and/or backing plate. I would bolt the wheel on and try to wiggle the wheel to see if there is any play in it. If not I would remove the rotor and see if there is any evidence of rubbing or worn parts inside. I sticking cable could have worn the parking brake shoes down and could not have some debris in. As far as changing the rear wheel bearing it is a hub style assembly so replacement it not that difficult. Good Luck, Bernie at George Riggin Specialty Automotive
