Howdy ! re the oil change post, I agree you with was just so surprised to find someone more fanatical than myself(my bro' shared it w/ me ) ! so I changed, covered his name and the others and shared it ! it is food for thought tho eh? sounds factual. it does leave a liter of whatever in the system kinda like when/if ya don't change the filter I'll scope out how hard to put a drain in the cooler line it could for sure be introducing another failure point though regards Neil PS i agree that the placement of the cat is bad the exhaust system runs too close to the oil pan and is especially bad when you're in the desert ! so we wrap the turbo, pipe and cat w/ the lava rock wrap material fr thermotec and design engineering inc It helps A LOT ! esp w/ heat soak in the engine compartment ! and heat reflected, referred, radiated to other components! (and NO it has never caused rust !~ )
