So I was able to locate a NEW lock - but there were no keys
Learned how to get keys via esaab and 2 new cut keys just arrived and nicely fit the new ( but keyless) cylinder I located.
Found a youtube video for a 9-5 with similar cylinder that shows me more about how to pull the cylinder out.
BUT
now I'm trying to get the larger plastic saddle cover off from around the key housing- so I can see the hole in the housing that i need to insert a small "L" shaped allen wrench into in order to release and pull out the old cylinder.
So my question - whats the trick to removing the large plastic "saddle" from the over the key housing. I does want to crack/break it just to pull it off. Are there pry points to undu some underside clip etc
Thanks for any guidance
JTM
