So with persistence I rocked side to side on that saddle cover and it popped on the P/S and I was able to pop the D/S.
That out I was able to see more of what I needed to do with the key cyl.
Put in the old key into the old Cyl and pushed a "L" shaped allen wrench into the housing hole at about 5 oclock.to push inwards on the cyl detent jigle jigle with a pull and it soon enough came out !!!!!!!
Clean up soem of the graphite i had previously shot into the cylinder receiver tube.
Lined up the new cyl (after applying some graphite power to the cyl) and with new key in new Cyl pushed it into the tube housing - note key must be at 12 oclock to allow the detent to be pushed into the Cyl tube.
Great
Now the big test..........turn the key...it turns easily and i go for the started position.
Nothing my dash lights up as usual but not starter engagement. Sh*t
Could it be the issue is the electronic switch module located under the Cyl tub housing ?????
So thats where I am now. Any guidance??? At least those switch modules are easilt available $70-250
Im gonna remove the battery connection and see itf it resets something follow up soon
