Not sure exactly what you're asking, but I'll try to shed some light on the subject.
The upgraded system in the SEs includes the standard "coaxial" speakers in the dashboard (3.5" tweeter/woofer combination). In the doors are 6" woofers; they are midrange only and are powered by the little factory amplifer near your glovebox. The Saab does not have a component system; it simply has two sets of speakers in the front. The only thing the door speakers do in the factory setup is provide increased midbass.
"My question is who do I go to replace these? Clarion? Saab dealer? "
Do you mean the door speakers? I thought you had someone else replace them with 6.5s. I think I can help, just need more specifics.
By the way, if you're looking for good sound at a reasonable price, I'd get a small, aftermarket amplifier and some decent 6.5" component speakers for the doors. Disconnect the speakers in the dashboard entirely (this is not hard, all you need is a short screwdriver). The dash speakers will always sound bad because A.) They are 3.5" speakers and B.) They are pointed at the windshield, a definite disadvantage as the sound will bounce off it first and cause some unwanted effects. A component system would be ideal since the tweeters can be aimed, however coaxials in the doors will work great for not too much money.
