I almost hate to get involved, but...
I don't understand all the complaint about the 900SE subwoofers. IMHO, it's a pretty good system, except that the tweeters/midrange could be a little stronger. The reason the doors vibrate (and it's worth fixing) is because of the LOW bass. Listen to your CDs in there - there's not a lot of chest-thumping bass, true. Why? Because your chest cavity resonates around 100 Hz, which is easy and cheap to make - any idiot can design a speaker to work nearly anywhere at that frequency range. It's the reason discos have "that sound". For the most part, it's a distortion of the way the music was recorded as well.
To get lower frequencies requires space (to accommodate the development of long bass waves - a 32 Hz wavelength is well longer than your car) and a LOT of power. I've heard (felt) low frequencies from my stock 900SE with a Clarion CD changer, that my home system has a hard time reaching, and it's no slacker. If you want chest-thumping over-compensated bass, so you can be heard from miles around, take every high school-aged stereo "experts" advice and replace the subs with aftermarket speakers. You also might look into installing a hydraulic lift kit so your Saab can bounce at stoplights.
