Having "been there done that" twice, I can recommend several things to try to get the plug out (in order of severity)
1) Try a 1/2" six point socket which is slightly smaller than a 13 MM. This usually makes for a tighter fit on the plug
2) Try a set of vise grips that have the V-notch in them that grip the plug MUCH more firmly than ordinary vise grips. (I found this tool at Sears... You could also try one of the Craftsman Robo-thingies or something like that)
3) Take a 13 MM socket you don't care about and use some "JB Weld" to permanently GLUE it onto the rounded plug. You'll have to let it cure overnight.
4) File some new edges or use a Dremel tool to grind some flat sides onto the plug. Use a 12MM socket or the V-notch Vise grips.
5) LAST RESORT. Use the Dremel tool to CAREFULLY cut some of the edges on the head of the plug off. This removes all the stress on the plug and it will come right out! Note that you only have about 1/8" margin of error (the copper washer). You do NOT want to cut into the oil pan or else you might not get a tight seal around the plug in the future.
