OK so I want to preserve and spiff up my new to me black 92 900. The cars paint is in not to bad of shape. It still looks good and has a decent shine. It has some scratches and swill marks here and there and some other paint imperfections. I dont imagine it has had a wax job and has been taken care of for a few years now. I want to fix any imperctions that can be fixed and seal and shine it up.
I know next to nothing and did some research on the board and I came up with this.
clay
buff/polish
sealant
wax
i want to have this done by someone and I called them mentioning those things. they told me that they dont buff or use sealant and then he feed me a bunch of other crap like some cream, bla, bla bla, $300. im willing to spend 2-300$ but I think I want to have it buffed and sealed right at that price? i then asked if that would get ride of the small scratches and swirls and he wasnt sure.
so does anyone have any suggestions to the methods and process I should have done. How much it really should cost me. and maybe recommend a place in sothern NH, boston area.
thanks
brad
