The Linear is perfectly comparable to the cars chosen. Of course, why the Vector was thrown in is beyond me; however I won't complain. Driving someone else's Vector like a madman was worth the trip altogether.
I can tell you that the A4 was horribly depressing. All I could say after driving the car was "What a Pig!". I also hated the auto trans in the BMW. It was always between gears, even in the Sporttronic mode. It's funny I always thought that the manual override was supposed to turn the trans. to a manual mode. Even in the sequential manual setting, the transmisssion would shift up and down on it's own. It was extremely frustrating to drive hard.
Cheers,
Brian.
