I got DAN without hesitation, because I dive, their packages get pretty comprehensive. It's all secondary insurance (to your primary insurer), but in DAN's case, if you get bent diving, you can easily incur a mid-5-figure bill even without an airlift and you'd be screwed if your primary didn't kick in.
If you go DAN, only their higher plans also roll in accident/interruption coverage, money for extra accomodations, late return, all of that. You can cover nondivers, but heck, use it as an excuse to get certified, it's lotsa fun ;)
DO read the fine print with any policy (Travel Guard looks good, too)...many policies want you to notify them (within reason) of accidents, and things like airlifts (many will arrange them), so keep their info handy. If you don't notify them, most will still cover, but it will be a claim/payment arrangement so it'll take time.
