What do you mean by “Having had two sets of springs fail already, why did you decide to go this route?” I still have yet to have my first set replaced. It has been months and I am getting concerned about having to run summer tires in the snow or destroy winter tires as well. I still think the load leveling would fix my problem for good and the parts are available on a three week order from Sweden. SaabUSA, the dealer, and the rep have not been very cooperative and insist that they will only replace the stock parts and that I can’t pay the difference since the Saab accessories are not considered Saab parts, but aftermarket accessories. Saab and the dealer speak out of both sides of their mouth. I have worn spring therefore I did something and springs are a wear item – so much of a wear item that they are not even available (no ETA at least) and are covered under the warranty.
I don’t know of any heavier duty options for the front. I want to keep the stock height as the Aero is low enough for me.
