When I was a kid we had our SAABs serviced by a guy that had a SAAB dealership well outside of town where most wouldn't have known it existed. The dealership garage sat on the corner of his property in front of his house. There had never been a formal show room just the garage building. By this time it was no longer an official SAAB dealership; probably sold to few to stay in full time business but he keep working on them on the side. Nice guy, big SAAB fan, and darn good mechanic that probably significanly undercharged.
Some great stuff around the property. The garage was cool b/c it was sort of like a SAAB dealership frozen in time since it had cessed as an official dealership a fair number of years ealier. Would have loved to have had the 60s era SAAB dealership sign. The huge old SAAB posters and promo sales material posted in the garage were cool too.
