I deleted the suspicious email.
And I am almost sure my credit account was not broken into. That is the only thing I am wary of. Why? Because even I cannot acess the info online now. I called the credit card bank. The current balance doesn't sound suspicious. Talked to the account rep and asked him why I cannot access my credit card info online. He said the bank just mailed me a new card with a new expiration date. Asked him why because my current card is good till well beyond 2010 and I didn't request a new card to be sent. He said the bank just does that. So whoever cracked into the credit card account, if he did crack into the account, could not use it because he doesn't have the current card info. That info is in the mail being sent to me. I will have to update it on Ebay (and Paypal) when I get it.
The question is shuld I update it so the perpetrator (if there is indeed one) can also get it?
