when Merc came out with that crazy four-door "coupe" with the chopped roofline, everyone went nuts. Including folks who have to sit in the back, with no headroom and little windows. But designers like what they like, so soon there will be a similar Passat coupe, and the gangsta 300 you mentioned, and everyone is scrunching the beltline up and the roofline down because that's the fad. After a while, it will go in the other direction. The trick is to come out with your copycat design before the worm turns, and if this is a 2010 car they will have missed that particular train.
