where you can't see them. That seems OK. After all, a Lexus is just a gussied-up Toyota with a lot of Toyota parts, but they are quite different cars. Audis are full of VW parts.
It depends on the part. If the A/C or alternator or steering rack is GM, and is less expensive because they made 1 million of them instead of 50,000 that would seem to make sense. And Saabs have had parts from lots of companies since they first hit the road.
But I agree, if they throw in lousy Chevy seats, numb steering, and cheap interiors I'll be shopping elsewhere.
