I used to drink that stuff but it ate my stomach lining up - expresso in the AM and Crown Royal in the PM - a winning combination.
Anyways as I recall you are bike rider as I am. I bought a Mavic Open Pro or whatever one of their better wheels is named as I was popping spokes on my Alex Rims almost immediately after getting the bike, so the bike shop go with the Mavic. I had the wheel less than 3 summers - went to ride the bike last week, flipped it upside to lube the chain, spun the wheel noticed it was out of balance. In the dim light of the garage got the spoke wrench out and started to adjust - but nothing was working. Put the wheel in a better light and noticed a spoke had pulled right through the rim. Bike shop (a reputable one) looked at the wheel and said it was pretty worn - estimating I had ridden it around 4k miles - which is possible, but I've had wheels last 10 yrs in the past - this is the rear of course.
My options are to but Synergy (used) from a friend for $ 200 - set, or the shop with Mavic's help will sell me an Open road for $ 125. What do you think of these choices ?
It's been great riding weather here in CO with no winter in sight --yet.
