and have had great luck with it. simple build, easy to clean and makes great food. people have actually asked when i am going to have another party with smoked ribs.
there is a propane burner at the bottom, then a box for the wood chips, then a container for water, then 3 racks for food. it is oriented vertically.
if you go on the smoke hollow website, it is model 34168G and is running around $220.
i have never had to turn the burner up past low to keep temp consistent at 225-250, and i even smoked last january when it was in the 20s in boston.
my only complaint with this model is that you need to open the entire unit to restock the wood chips. you just have to be quick though and the temp comes back up quickly. otherwise, i saw some units in home depot where the wood chip door was at the bottom and separate from the larger door for the food, but not sure as to build quality, etc.
hope this helps.
