yup there's a nice wright up about it, heck while back ago there used to be a cloaking device that would cloak the entire front of the car, im not sure if it could stop laser detection but putting one in front and mounting one in back would leave the only part of the car that would be visible to radar would be the sides of the car, mounting 4 units on all 4 sides is just not economically worth it being the car cloakers were running at 800 - 1100 for one, this was back in early 2000. the vg-2 on the radar detectors came out the same time the car cloaks did. i got a few buddys still into the hole run from the law thing i could give them a call and find out what ever did happen to the car cloakers. take note that the car cloaks are highly illegal in the u.s. last i heard of the cloaks was talking to a friend and hearing the cloak just came out for motorcycles, this was around the yr 2007.
the vg-2 cloaking on radar detector i think is only for radar cloaking not laser, but im not to interested in the subject to go and dig for the facts on exactly what dose what. ill post a link of the vg-2 cloaking radar. if it interest you dig into it farther heck you might find the car cloaks over seas being sold somewhere.
heck i thought the vg-2 on radar detectors was common knowledge
