when I was in college. A piano is big, heavy and awkwardly shaped. It can do a lot of damage to your house and more importantly your body. If you have 4 beafy guys, at least one or two of whom have some expereince moving stuff, and proper equipment (which you can rent), it might work--or not. I guess it's like anything. Maybe you can pull your transmission in the driveway and rebuild it on the kitchen table. Maybe you can't. You're rolling the dice doing this yourself, hope it doesn't come up snake eyes.
