never got a ticket (other than a couple dumb parking tickets)... maybe just lucky (certainly have been well over the limit through radar traps before)... but, I did have a cop follow me once (was driving a c900)... he was behind me at a light at a T, both of us waiting for the light to change + make a left turn... light changed, I drove, carefully noting that I should not exceed the speed limit with a cop behind me... though I did accelerate around the corner of course (my around town fuel economy is not great)... cop followed me all the way to a parking lot of the store I was going in a few blocks away, but not trying to pull me over, more like a stalker... I get out + on my way walking to the store he stops in front of me with the window down: "nice Saab. my dad had one of those. lots of fun to drive"... I smiled + agreed... I think the implication may have been in part "don't have too much fun", but whatever, I'll take it at face value ;-)...
