As you and I both know she's going to deal with booze and the drug issue at most college parties as well. It's important she sticks to her guns on this and makes it clear to friends she's not cool with substance abuse etc.

She could put X's on her hands so if cop's show up she can say I'm underage and I indicated that by wearing X's. If she's not actually drinking I'm sure she wouldn't get in trouble with police etc. She doesn't want to not go out but if I were her I'd cultivate a friend set that didn't drink and do drugs.

Here at Radford partying is non stop and I know lots of really cool chicks that don't drink/smoke. It's amazing how much the drinking and drug use is ingrained in college culture.

If she continues to stand up for herself she'll gain respect from the right peers. My gf doesn't smoke. Whenever we go to a party and she smells weed she insists we leave immediately as she doesn't wanna be around it. I'm a bit more lax but I respect her strong beliefs and the integrity. Often what seems like harmless partying snowballs and as adults kids have real problems with this stuff.
