car was unlocked but off. get out of car, unlock trunk. put key in ignition (for hertz guy) get stuff out of trunk. close trunk. close driver door. car locks itself with key in ignition. was the trunk still unlocked? I thought (as in 100% certain) the back seat does fold in the Versa (though probably access is only from the main cabin)... what told the car it was time to lock the doors? closing the driver's door? who wants their car to lock every time the driver's door is closed? was there some special mode activated that caused this? we have relatives with a Versa (and young child), so this may be of interest! thanks, James...
