To get the visa you'll need a letter stating the job and the dates of the contract/employment. It needs to be fairly officia-looking, so the agency may be able to help with that. Then you need to apply for a work visa, get a photo taken, and submit the application with the photo, the letter, and your passport to the British Embassy/consulate. A few weeks later you get the passport back with a visa on one of the pages. It costs $300/visa. Then when you get there just remember to look right, left, right when crossing the street.
