I see quite a few in the metro Detroit area. They are really distinctive--they look like nothing else on the road. I think a truly cutting edge design takes time to catch on which unfortunately they didn't get. I drove one and seriously considered buying it. My main beefs were the fact the windshield/roof slope crowded my head (I hate that) and the fact the 4 cylinder was under powered. If they'd stuck with the 2.3 with 250 horse I probably would have bought it--going backwards on horsepower while increasing weight didn't seem like smart play. A Focus four cylinder makes more horsepower. The car was very close, and with a few tweaks could possibly have evolved into a player. But if they couldn't sell a die-hard Saab lover like me, no one should be too surprised things turned out the way they did. Ultimately I'm glad I didn't buy what turned out to be an orphan.
