Ha! "Check the oil every fill up..." must have been written by someone used to old-time domestic cars (think 1980's when they all needed oil top ups every fuel fill up)... I rarely check the oil in our SAABs. I probably should slightly more often, but they never have issues!

OTOH drivers ed - the first thing we were supposed to do was circle check, which included looking at all 4 corners, mainly for a flat... would suck to back out over the curb bump in the driveway on a flat and dent a rim... etc... I should probably be more diligent on that one also... but a quick visual is not really "checking one's tires" either...

Hopefully nothing else is too messed up around that wheel.

Which Potenzas are you running? I really like the RE970's on our 9-5. Sometimes this is a good excuse to get a new set and sell the odd set.
