Temporary Garage Door Insulation Posted by Joe [Email] (#444) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Joe) on Sun, 27 Jan 2019 13:53:49 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
It's going to get very cold here, -15F, which is unusual. My 16' garage door, attached to the house, is insulated but probably 20 years old and due for replacement. Since the water heater and water lines are in a garage utility room and the furnace is in the garage itself I'm a little paranoid about keeping it relatively warm. I've hung moving blankets spanning the garage door, which seems to help a little, just wondering if anyone had any better ideas? I don't really want to apply the garage insulation kits since I'll be replacing the door in the spring. Thanks!
