These are the primary reasons for using N2.
I see no reason not to use N2 in a winter tire.
I use it in a winter tire and it works very well.
One other reason is noise, N2 has different noise
transmission properties then Air. So N2 filled tires
are less noisy. It is a good way to reduce noise in
the 9s as tire noise can be a problem.
Remember that O2 is heavier then then N2 and thus
noise vibrations travel faster in O2 then in N2.
