I had a deposit down on one before changing at the last minute and getting a 9-5 wagon. The MDX has a lot of room, tows 3500 pounds, and gets 17/23 mpg!! It is bigger than the jeep/explorer/blazer size, but smaller than the expedition/tahoe style. The only problem is they are selling like hotcakes in the US, with a couple of months wait, and most dealers are asking MSRP and getting it. It didn't help that Motor Trend named it SUV of the year. This fall the demand might slow down some, but depending on when you need the vehicle (or where you live, some places have some in stock) I would give it a look. I was shopping hard between the tahoe, expedition, and durango when someone told me about the MDX. I dropped the others in an instant. We got almost as much room in the wagon, but I wouldn't take it camping in the woods like I would have an SUV.
