Is it a question of the medium or the machinery?
In other words am I right in thinking that a CD RW drive, using CDR media, will produce platters that play in my motor, whereas RW disks in the same hardware won't work?
I want to buy a CD burner for my PC, largely for the car - not least because the storage for CDs in the 9-5 armrest is so compromised (four or five), and also wondered if the quality of the generating hardware is important. I guess that in fact all the difficult bits of the hardware found in the different boxes at PC World are made in just one or two factories and the difference between 99 pounds and 200 is marketing.
Thanks for all the advice.
